BEFORE DESIGNING
My experiences derive from the Psychology field – specifically in the behavioral health department. Even before that, I was (and still am!) a freelance artist that specializes in digital illustration and concept design. These fields helped me realize the importance of communication, problem solving, and empathy.
pivoting to ux
I’ve had an interest in the inner mechanisms of a person’s mind since I was young, which convinced me to major in Psychology. Afterwards, I started working with clients who experienced behavioral challenges by understanding their needs, frustrations, and diagnoses.
As much as I enjoyed my work, I felt like a piece was missing from my career. That is when I recognized that I wanted to intertwine human-centric need and visual design together to create an impactful experiences for all. From this, I started my transition to UX/UI Design.
my free time
Outside of UX design, I still love indulging in other types of creativity — whether it is crafting cosplays, coming up with character designs, or playing D&D. (Let’s share stuff about our campaigns!) ✨
